I began drawing before entering elementary school, painting a few years later. My B.A. in Fine Arts from Vanderbilt and I began teaching special needs children shortly thereafter. Eventually, I earned my doctorate in developmental psychology. I have used my love for drawing and painting wherever my career has taken me. Now that I am somewhat retired, I am able to make more time for my passion in art.
