I have been interested in all things artistic for as long as I can remember. As a child, I wanted to be a great writer or a famous singer. In my twenties, it became popular to have a chick singer in the band, so for awhile, I was that chick. I sang in several bands and enjoyed every minute of it. But alas, I was not to be the next Linda Ronstadt.
I went on to study art and painting, photography and interior design.
When I married a painter, and an avid art collector, W. Michael Bush, I became immersed in art every day. Somewhere in all the gallery hopping and art shows that I attended with Michael, I became more than a little interested in jewelry design. I had to try it for myself.
I fell in love with the organic feel of stones and metal. But I enjoy using any materials that will bring a design to life. I work with vitreous enamels, acid etching and polymer clay. There are still many techniques and elements that I intend to add. My work is ever changing and evolving, so I hope that you like what you see and that you will follow me on this journey.
