Amy grew up in a metalsmithing family who fostered her creativity through many mediums, including painting, drawing and ceramics. She has lived in Michigan, California and now resides in Wisconsin.  She opened a studio and boutique with her mother in Marquette, Michigan called "Rings and Things".  Five years later her mother retired and left the business to Amy.  She decided that her love of travel was too great to be held down by a 9-5, closed the boutique (with the blessings of her mother) and decided to pour her efforts into art shows.

Education: Amy has both formal and informal training.  While pursuing her degree at Northern Michigan University she had the opportunity to study under renowned sculptor and metalsmith Dale Wedig.  She graduated with a BS in Sociology and a minor in Art & Design.

Passions: Anything Art, anything animal and anything that has to do with kayaking.

The Art:  Free spirited and fun while being wearable and comfortable are words Amy uses to explain her designs.  The materials she uses primarily consist of sterling silver and gold filled.  As she reaches for new inspiration she has begun using copper, brass and ferrite to add new life and dimension to some of her pieces.
