Michelle, jewelry designer Indigo Berry,  lives and works in the Isle of Skye, in the Scottish Highlands, an exceptionally beautiful place where she is surrounded by natural inspirations.

She has always been creative.  She says "back in the dark ages I studied Art History as part of a joint degree at Leeds University and continued to practice practical art in my spare time-painting in water colors and acrylics and making greetings cards"

She discovered jewelry making because "she was too much of a coward to get her ears pierced" and it was really difficult back then to get decent clip-on earrings.  So she decided to make her own.

Nearly 25 years after making that set first set of earrings, Indigo Berry was launched (and yes, she did eventually pluck up the courage to get her ears pierced!)
